Michael Pregot, author of Sea Captains of Cape Cod, will give a presentation covering the golden age of the whaling industry, which in the early 1800s was among the most profitable in the country. Learn about whale products and the movement of the whaling center from Nantucket, to Wellfleet, to New Bedford, to Provincetown. Hear about the storied lives of successful Cape Cod whaling captains.
