Event Description:
The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Yarmouth Recreation Department will be having its Winter Carnival from Saturday, February 17th - Monday, February 19th at Skull Island in South Yarmouth (weather permitting) from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. 

The Winter Carnival will have an outdoor synthetic ice skating rink, Kono Pizza, Meatball Bombs, and Veteran's Lunch Box food trucks, Papa Gino's, s'mores fun, and family-friendly activities that everyone of all ages can enjoy! Family-friendly activities include a petting zoo, face painting, kids crafts, a balloon artist, a caricature artist, touch-a-truck, a glitter/henna tattoo artist, Amazin' Gamin', a photo booth provided by Turn it Up Entertainment, games, a live performance by the Drumma Queens, Mad Science shows, and craft and food vendors! The arcade at Skull Island will also be open.

Ice Skating: The synthetic ice rink is OPEN SKATE this year (no pre-registration is required) starting at 12:15 PM each day. Come on down to the ice rink and either bring your own skates or you can rent them from Yarmouth Recreation (limited sizes available). Skating is $8.00 cash per person (if you bring your own skates) or $10.00 cash per person if you need rentals (hockey and/or figure skates). Skating sessions are 30 minutes long. Kids 6 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult. The ice skating rink will be weather dependent. 

Parking: There will be LIMITED parking at Skull Island. There are several parking lots in the area that you can park in and walk over to Skull Island. 

Dogs: Please leave your furry friends at home.

Volunteering:
We are looking for volunteers to cover shifts for helping at the front gate, ice skating rink, and fire pits for s'mores. Click here to view and sign up for volunteer shifts. 

This event is funded through the Town of Yarmouth's Tourism Revenue Preservation Fund.
