Event Description:
6 Wednesdays, Oct 2-Nov 6, 12:30-2:30pm. In this 6-week class with artist Mary Richmond, students will learn the basics of color mixing using a very limited palette, learn about various brushes, and simple techniques in a fun, non-judgmental environment. This is a very basic watercolor class for wannabe watercolorists with NO experience -- real beginners who have no background in color mixing, brush handling, etc. If you’ve taken a watercolor class before, this is not the class for you. This includes YouTube video instruction, etc. We will be working with real objects, landscapes, and people. No photos in this class. We’ll be learning how to paint directly on paper and how to paint what we see. Please see the list of materials found on the Cultural Center’s website. $216/$194 for members.
