The Cape Cod and Islands Chapter of SCORE is pleased to announce that it will be holding a two-part webinar program designed specifically for owners and operators of independent hospitality properties. Both sessions will be held remotely on Zoom. They will be led by Carol Edmondson. Carol is a SCORE mentor who has a substantial background as an owner and advisor in the independent hospitality industry, including as a presenter with the Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals.
The first session – UNDERSTANDING TODAY’S TRAVELER AND HOW TO PROVIDE THE EXPERIENCE THEY WANT – will be held on April 19 starting at 12:00 p.m.
This session will cover:
1. A look at the market and trends for 2023. What is today’s traveler looking for? Who is traveling and why?
2. How do successful independent properties leverage their “Super Powers” (small and local) to maximize performance and return on investment?
3. Best practices and practical tips for online marketing, operations, guest services, and amenities.
4. How do independent properties partner with other local businesses that service their guests, creating a win-win and enhancing the guest travel experience?
