Event Description:
4 Thursdays, Jan 23-Feb 13, 1-4pm. Come try out the wheel in this 4-part introductory class for beginners with artist Paula Alvary! You will learn the fundamentals of using a pottery wheel in the first three classes: wedging your clay, centering, and forming vessels, then have fun glazing your 2 or 3 best pieces in the last class. Limited to just 6 students, this class offers one-on-one attention from the instructor in an easy-going and supportive environment. Students will also get 6 additional hours of Open Studio time to practice outside of class. $160/$144 for members. Dress to get "muddy" and bring an apron and an old hand towel.
