River Dinner Series: The Daube, with Chef Joe Cizynski

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Wednesday, March 6, from 6-8pm. We will be doing dinner’s traveling along some of the great rivers in the world. We will cross them and take food from 4 different locations along the river. We’ll travel the Danube, the Rhine, the Nile, the Loire, the Columbia, the Amazon, the Mississippi, the Hudson and more. Tonight we will make 4 stops on the Danube!! We start in Budapest, Hungary, and have Hungarian Borscht consommé with smoked trout and root vegetables. Next Vukovar, Croatia, and dine on salata od hobotnice (grilled octopus salad) Then Ingolstadt, Germany, where classic Wiener schnitzel is next. We will finish in Vienna, Austria with classic Sacher Torte. Complimentary bubbles will be served and this is a BYOB event.
