Love Letter to Cape Cod

The film, “Love Letter to Cape Cod” will be shown on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 5 p.m. at the South Yarmouth United Methodist Church, 324 Old Main St., South Yarmouth. The 30-minute film was made to demonstrate the need to successfully save historic properties on the Cape. The danger of Cape Cod becoming the Hamptons is of real concern to many who see old historic properties being demolished in order to build mcmansions, according to the film sponsor, Protect Our Past. The film will be followed by a discussion led by Ellen Brigs, organizer of Protect Our Past The film showing is co-sponsored by the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth. Refreshments will be served.
