Event Description:
Join Nipmuc-Wampanoag, Marcus Hendricks, and local historian, Bob Kelley, on this guided, one-mile, Native American Talk/Walk program along HSOY's Thacher Trail. Discussions will range from the Woodland Period through 200 years after the Contact Period, and cover such topics as hunting, fishing, domestic life, and local Native American, Thomas Greenough - one of the “Praying Indians” and last of the Nobscusset Tribe to live here at Yarmouth. The walk will end at the Shade Artbor in the meadow by Kelley Chapel.
