Event Description:
Historic Reservation Walking Tour Learn about an 18th century Indian reservation where indigenous peoples lived for 65 years during a guided walking tour on March 30 from 10 a.m. to noon. Wampanoag/Nipmuc Marcus Hendricks and local historian Bob Kelley will lead this walk around the boundaries of a one-time reservation off Main Street, South Yarmouth, to learn more about those who once lived here. The tour will cover about two miles and take about two hours, rain or shine. Tickets at $15 are available at www.hsoy.org/events and close one hour before the event. Maximum 30 people.
