Whether you're just starting your artistic journey or refining your skills, this no-fear, supportive class is for you! Spend six weeks with me learning to paint or expanding your skills.
What to Expect: Learn the basics: color mixing, brush handling, and starting from scratch. Paint with confidence from day one! Discover techniques for painting light, reflections, perspective, water, sky, landscapes, rocks, fur, and more. Get personalized guidance to solve color and composition challenges. Expand your creativity and find your unique style!
What You'll Paint: Bring your favorite photos or choose from our curated collection.
Mediums Welcome: Water-soluble oils recommended, but feel free to bring traditional oils, acrylics, or watercolors. Bring your own materials or materials can be provided for an additional fee. Come explore, create, and unlock your artistic potential!
Recommended Materials: Water-soluble (recommended) or Traditional oil paints, acrylics, or watercolors (if preferred). Flat brushes (small, medium, large). Round brushes (small and medium). Detail brush (for fine lines). Disposable or reusable paint palette for mixing? Pre-stretched canvas or canvas boards (size: 11x14 or 16x20 inches). Palette Knives for mixing colors and applying paint. Water container (for acrylics or watercolors) or odorless mineral spirits for oils. Rags or paper towels For cleaning brushes and hands. Easel (tabletop or standing). Pencil and eraser for sketching your initial composition on the canvas. Apron or old clothes.
