Book signing event for Cape Cod’s “Garden Lady”

C.L. Fornari, well known as Cape Cod’s own “Garden Lady,” will speak about her long awaited new book, “Sand & Soil: Creating Beautiful Gardens on Cape Cod and the Islands.” Following the presentation, copies of the book will be available for signing by the author. Refreshments will be served. The event takes place during the 5th Annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, to be held this year from July 12 to 21 at venues throughout the area. Fornari, who has been a garden consultant on Cape Cod since 1995, presents frequent talks throughout the area and is a popular local media presence, dispensing garden advice and stories on her weekly radio show, “GardenLine,” on WXTK-FM. She’s the author of several previous gardening and landscaping books and also serves as a consultant through Hyannis Country Garden’s home center in Hyannis.
