Author Event, Friday, Oct. 14, 3PM The Yarmouth Port Library, 297 Rt 6A, is pleased to host this very special event with Lisa Franco, award winning writer and producer for ABC television affiliate in New Haven CT and part time Cape Cod resident. Ms. Franco will discuss her book, My Dearest Darling: Letters of Love in Wartime. This synopsis of intimate wartime correspondence between U.S. Naval Officer Donald Storey and his love Margery provides a snapshot of their separation over 5 long years during World War II. They also give us a first-hand glimpse into 1940’s culture and provide a window into important historical events.
